If it’s just about size and pace why not buy Usain Bolt? Just not convinced he’s good enough to spend the money on him and doesn’t sound like centrally he’s that great either. Last I heard we’ve cooled out interest in him anyway.

We clearly need better depth but I’m not sure spending that sort of money on a squad player is worth it? I know Garnacho isn’t ready but he does sound like a talent and he will need to get some sort of game time to develop.

Injury to Rashford or Martial and we are talking Elanga (if he does not leave) and Bruno out of midfield. 35 million Euros is correctly priced and can be moved on easily. 34 goals + assist is serious output to me.

Its not a choice between him and Anthony for me. Both are needed. And lets be clear, Garnacho is not a choice. If we handle it wrongly he could become the next Januzaj.

from what I have seen elanga is no worse than Gakpo. 40plus million is close to double what I would pay for him tbh. he will not be a starter for Man Utd .... no way. I wouldnt pay anymore than about 25m for gakpo tbh

Do you know how many times Elanga runs into defenders and just crumbles? How many headers he loses. Elanga will cost us 35 million to sign from another club, thats just what being man Utd has become. We just need option that offer something different.

no word of a lie James Tavernier for us had him on toast last night. Ryan Kent looked the better of the two wingers (granted that was just last night) but i wasnt impressed with Gakpo at all. and if he doesnt show up well against us (Rangers) then its hard to see him having any effect in england

I watched the match. He was ineffective because you guys sat back and deep. Also he was the creative outlet on the team rather than a target of the offence. One off games where he became a focal point of the defence wasn't going to have much impact.

Martial will always start in the middle if he's fit. He's not an option in the right. An injury rashford means really it's elanga and garnacho. Sancho is a last option there at this moment unless you think Antony will come and send him to the bench.

Pretty sure Antony will sign, he’s clearly our priority right now which like I said would love Sancho to the left. We really don’t need another right footed winger.
