Dele, let's put it this way. Now, three years ago you was supernatural. You was hard and you was nasty and you had this cast-iron jaw but then the worst thing happened to you, that could happen to any footballer.You got civilized. But don't worry kid. You know, presidents retire, horses retire, Man-o-war retired. They put him out to stud. That's what you should've done, retired.

Maybe Dele Alli could be put out to stud and help produce the next generation of Spurs midfielders.

He was nothing special and Overrated by many. For every 1 thing he did well on the pitch he did 5 others poorly. Luckily we had a decent think to mask his deficiencies. The moment you wanted him to step up when several of our top team left he was found wanting.
Good luck to him in Turkey. Sadly, I don’t think he will do much there either.

disagree, he seen the game differently from most other younger players. He constantly was able to get into those dangerous positions and his timing of run into the box is something quite rarely seen in players so young.

The decline in Dele's career started after he was rewarded with a 6 year contract. Check the timelines.

Yep Jose was right about him, as he was with Luke Shaw, look at him now.

I thought he'd be the next Lampard at one point. He had that late, untracked run into the box that Lampard made his entire career out of.

And there in might lie the difference tbh. If Lampard didn't have possibly the best work ethic of any player I've ever seen, maybe he would've turned into Alli, who knows.
