Only utter roasters use the term woke as a pejorative expression. Thick, misogynistic, racist ððs. That’s why the country is in such a mess. Idiots believing a made up culture war. The new enemy is the ‘woke’. The absolute state of some posters on here. Utter ðĪĄs

Waaahhh. My masculinity is so fragile I get upset because a woman who played football for her country 140 times gets to compresent a tv programme about football. Small ð energy.

Yeah agree with previous posters Billy & Steve. Watch with sound off and don’t listen to the utter S*ite that most pundits talk. Never do pre or post match anymore, nothing to be gained at all. Don’t care for the political agenda of the bbc and watch YouTube rather than motd. Yes I am from a generation where women didn’t kick a ball. Do I want to watch womens football…NO. Do a give a flying f about womens football, NO. So why force feed on daily sites. Turning away from bbc sport now because they are so eager to shove it in yer face. All these word warriors who try to belittle our opinion are sanctimonious cowards. F off and don’t try to change our opinions. We are not vegetables like you.

Nearly all of them are complete shieite, Man, Woman, Black, White, Gooner or Scouser - complete shieite.
The are only 2 I will listen to - Kammy, because he has some fun with it all. The other is David Pleat because he has never correctly pronounced a name in his life and I love his creations - Pascal Chimbomba being one of the best

Some of the fundamental problems with modern day football presentation, and reasons why I no longer have an interest in listening to it.
1. Pure and simple bias. We all know the whole content of Sky, BT Sport and the BBC is centred around "favorites" every word uttered is clearly slanted towards the likes of Utd ( not sure why they don't actually call Sky or the BBC the Man Utd show ) Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. Literally every word is upbeat to the extreme.
2. Co commentators and studio "guests" that are ex players with a clear bias, and therefore an inability to provide the viewing public with a balanced, professional presentation of the game we are watching. The format is the same for every game.
Arsenal - Smith, Keown, Bent, Wright, Carney, Merson
Chelsea - Carney, Hoddle ( yeah is Chelsea, not Spurs bias )
Spurs - Dawson ( but is new, lacks forcefulness and gets beaten down by others )
Liverpool - McManaman or Carragher,Redknapp, Souness
Utd - Nevile, Scholes, Keane
City - Richards ( only one, but he is on our screens all the bloody time )
Any Scottish game - Mcoist
Every one of these has a 100% slant towards their own team, are always chosen to provide commentary when their team is playing and flatly refuse to give their attention in commentary to the other team playing their team.
3.Women presenting football. We all know there is an agenda here to ensure certain boxes are ticked, irrespective of their actual ability / knowledge. Frankly, I don't want to here the likes of Carney telling me what is happening, given, yes she played football, but it was a in a totally different sport to men's football, and from a time when even less people were interested in her game. I pay to watch football, because it is football, not because it is presented in a PC correct format. Why would Sky think I really want to here that, or listen to the match being presented by a women who, granted, looks good, but whose actual knowledge of the men's game is questionable. In the old days you had presenters who clearly had a relevant previous experience.
4. General narrative that clearly centre around the "Sky 4" to runs through every aspect of Sky. Even when there is no game actually being played. For example, take the the transfer Show. Even though this is a programme that is there to tell us what is happening in the window, every show starts with around half a hour segment on Man Utd. Why do I, a Spurs fan, want to listen to that ?
Just one example, by the narative is clear in every area. Maximum exposure to the chosen few, and minimal, if not total disregard for the rest.
5. Post Boys. We all know who they are. These players are pre chosen by the likes of Sky and the BBC, and are shoved down our throats at every opportunity. A few examples - Ronaldo, Haarland, Nunes, Salah.
6. And finally, for me, this need to constantly tell us everything is "brilliant" or "world class" or this player is "amazing"
I appreciate they want football to sound exiting, but everything cannot be that great on every occasion. After a while it just grates on your nerves.
