I must admit I had only see him play a few times for PSG before he came to Chelsea and given his age and the quality of the French League, I was not expecting much.
But now, all I can think about is how good he must have been in his absolute prime.
It is an absolute privilege to watch a true great perform so well for our club and he makes the art of defending a thing of beauty.
The only other defender that has given me as much pleasure to watch was the magnificent Maldini.
Thiago you are a feckin legend.

What I would give for him to be 25 years old again

Perfect role model for Fofana to learn from if he's destined to be great.

Phenomenal player. I’m struggling to think of times that, even in our leaky team at times, where he is at fault. Absolute rolls Royce of a player and currently the best cb in the league

Got to tip my hat, very, very good player. Has everything (except pace these days). Rolls Royce of a defender.

I'd take turning back the clock five years making Silva 32 but Koulibaly 26. That's the best CB partnership in the league (possibly Europe) and it honestly wouldn't be close

Whenever I watch Chelsea I'm always amazed at how good he is still at his age
His reading of the game, decision making and ability on the ball is outrageous

I have to echo this 100%. I was fortunate enough to be at both cup finals last season. Also had only really seen bits and pieces of him in the champs league. What a rolls royce of a defender, so classy, makes everything look easy. Seeing him close up in them games I really was taken aback at how good he was.

Cannot overestimate his value to the team. Last night yet another MOM?
