I'm loving the Conte era too. It's so nice to watch a team that's not gonna leak goals. Reminds me of the Ledley days

I would not have your confidence that our defence won't leak goals. we we damned lucky not to give up 2 or 3 against Forest. They just couldn't shoot straight when they had golden opportunities. Davies is a very weak player. I'm hoping we get a left side defender in by Thursday.
And that's why we have Udogie next season.
Definitely missed Romero too.

Don't get me wrong, I love Romero and his aggression, but to be fair, Sanchez has filled a hole in our back three in several occasions, both this year and when it really mattered at the end of last season. Now at 9 hours without conceding when he has played.
You have to recognise that. What squad depth is all about and will definitely be need in spades this season.

I'll give Sanchez his dues, he's filled in well when required. Perhaps he's better when there is competition there, he's not first pick and he knows he has to step up.

yes, we've had two in a row now.
But today's clean sheet was a matter of good luck.
If they'd had a decent striker .........

If they had a striker then they would not have had 7 playets packing out the midfiled.

Teams are surrendering a striker to get the numbers in to stop us playing but no cutting edge....Chelsea wolves forest have all done the same thing. More fool them not bad luck but poor tactics . Well done us

Ah, that explains it

I used to play as No 10 playmaker and nah, clean sheet meant nothing for me, as long we won and never thought about we must keep clean sheets. The keeper and the defense yes, it did mean to them a great deal. Of course, defensive midfielders too.

I do remember sometimes even if we won a game, but if one of the attacking players was sloppy and we conceded from it, those syndicate at the back would be all over us, finger pointing and telling us to drop back and defend

As a fan, I do love clean sheets now

As for your other rubbish about waiting to slip up, I'm just stating the obvious. we have defensive weaknesses on the left side.
That's why Conte invested in Udogie. But that won't happen till next season.
I'm hoping something happens by Thursday, exactly so we do not slip up.
