Had to turn it off when I heard Carragher come out with "he winds people up, he winds ME up"
My god, that guy only has to open his gob to wind me up.
Seriously though, this is just another example of the different rules for different clubs stance that most pundits live by.
As said above, no comment was made of the resultant tackle, which bordering on waste high. Yet they STILL go on about the Kane tackle on one of his beloved Liverpool players from about two years ago.
Roll on the day the "age of the bias pundit" comes to an end. Like every other craze, it inevitanly will.
This is an article worthy comment Steve
Another example of media bias against Spurs

Well this is a rewrite of history. Carragher clearly said he doesn't condone the tackle and you can't do that.

I think the British football media do a fine impartial job in this country, Full of experienced ex pros mostly Liverpool & United, Chelsea players who have won silverware at highest level & seasoned hacks like Henry Winter (Liverpool fan )
I say your feeling a little insecure Simon b

Totally agree, the Varpool and Penited love ins became standard fare many moons ago unfortunately.
It`s a crying shame these two awful clubs would not disappear out of existence.

Hey, I get and respect everyone has their opinions, but just feel when an oink like Carragher, who everyone outside of Liverpool knows all about his sometimes painful pro Liverpool stance, says someone winds HIM up, you just can't help but think to yourself, god how ironic given the amount of stuff HE comes out with that, put simply, puts me off every part of the match presentation, apart from the actual game.
You can agree or disagree. That is your right. But for me these toxic "pundits" with their self importance there for all to see, aren't just ruining football presentation ( on the only real Chanel we can watch it live ) they have already ruined it.
To get to a stage where I feel the need to miss out on any pre, half time and post match analysis AND be forced to watch a live game without the volume because the regular match commentators are as bad, is frankly a worrying indictment of how low the country's main tv companies presentation of the national sport has sunk.
Like I say, just my opinion, but purleeze, Mr Carragher, don't go on live tv telling me what winds you up, when just opening your mouth achieves that for all of us.
The dire state of football presentation is just not what I pay my Sky subs for. Until the day comes the whole format is changed to something reasonable, or I can watch it ( other than on an unreliable stream) elsewhere I guess I am stuck with it.
