... it feels a little underwhelming.
Ask any Spurs fan at the start of the season if you'd take 11 points from the opening 5 fixtures and we would have all taken that. Two difficult trips to grounds we struggle at being the dropped points + an unbeaten start to the PL season.
However, with them lot down the road having a perfect start and Man City with Halaand looking unbeatable it has taken the gloss off it heavily.
Yesterday wasn't a game where we lost tactically, it was on the players. After the PEH will he/wont he/ah its just his shoe - continual noise in the start of the second half you could see the whole team lost its focus and didn't really regain it all game. The lack of integration of new signing hasn't helped - with Son, Davies and Dier performing below par for the season and a very shaky start from Bissouma; yet we've had a good run of results without a lot of our key players kicking into gear yet so we have a lot more to come.
Our next two away fixtures are Man City & Arsenal, if we pick up 2 points from these games then we will be in a good place and really cement a solid foundation for the rest of the season.

Who is/was this thick "new to the forum" mug that is TopForm?
I do think Spurs fans underplay Arsenal's results a bit. We'd have all been ecstatic with 15 points from the same fixtures, and would have all taken 13 points from the same fixtures.
I just hope Leicester still have Rodgers when we play them.

If Fulham played Chelsea right now they'd be favourites. Chelsea are woeful at the moment, I'm sure they'll get better but it won't happen overnight.
They didn't step up their game against you, you aren't playing well and you've had easy fixtures.

I am happy with the start. Feels like we have not even reached any gears yet and just grinding results.
Five games in two weeks coming up. He will have to rotate eventually and if Bentancur and Romero are fit for Fulham they will improve the team alot.

Ted, they are an OK team, not a good team. Although they do have a decent striker. Come the end of the season though expect them to be somewhere near bottom six.
