Why is pointing out hypocrisy getting mouthy?

Also, why are Liverpool fans so defensive about the fact that they miss Mane? He's a class player, any team in the league would miss him.

Most of not all I see is decent sensible comments fitting of this article. This is what the site is for so if it sounds defensive to you perhaps mumsnet is where your focus should be.

Just seems weird to claim you don't miss Mane, when you obviously do. Its like you think admitting it makes you a worse team, when realistically any team would miss him but you had to start your rebuild for the future without him.

Whether we obviously miss Mane is a matter of opinion and that's why this site exists. You can't rule out other people's views regarding such a subjective topic. We had bad spells too even when Mane was here and we've played 5 games without him. Saying we obviously miss him as if it's not debatable at this time is a bit silly, maybe even stoopid.

Only after a long time shall we be able to judge. If our attack keeps scoring goals the same as when Mane was here then we're not missing him. As I said earlier, our problems are not in attack.

I think we panicked a bit with Mane leaving but I do still believe it was the right decision. Time will tell but I think he will still score plenty this season. Perhaps he’s lost that slight bit of pace however.

I imagine last season took a huge mental toll on him. Had two almost moments for his country and then another two with club.

The country ones though might have really effected him due to his age when those next opportunities could possibly come round again

Mane was taking tonnes of criticism from some of our fans. I thought they'd be happy he left. Will be waiting to see if they've now changed tune.
