Richarlison

Fabulous signing this one. Fits this team like a glove and adds that extra bit of quality up top for us. I was at the game today and he was literally everywhere. He was an absolute menace to Fulham and he is already becoming a fan’s favourite. Extremely unlucky to have his goal disallowed, but 2 assists so far this season and playing himself into that 1st 11. I certainly wouldn’t drop Richarlison right now. I thought Spurs were brilliant today and the game should have been 4 or 5-1. Fulham offered nothing pretty much all game. Onto the next now, champions league 😎

PEH was a 9.5 or 10 for me. Best midfielder in the league I'd have thought, and if he carries on playing like this I'd say he'll become the best midfielder Spurs have had in the 40 years I've been watching them. Absolutely imperious.

Richarlison has the right mentality to force his way into our front line, guy is a born fighter.

PEH just keeps getting better and Bentancur has really helped improve him further

I don't count Bale as a midfielder. Gazza was of course a sensational number 8/10, and Hoddle a majestic number 10.

Hojberg's like a 6 AND an 8 out there at once. He's literally worth 2 players at the moment.

It's a hypothetical currently anyway, and I'm not saying he's in that category based on a handful of games this season, or even comparable to Ardiles, Dembele and maybe some others.

Replicate yesterday though across a season or 2 and he'd be peerless.

btw I've typed "8/10" against Gazza there purely on the basis that he wore number 10 for some of his games for Spurs. I retract the /10 in terms of describing him as a player. Anyway, it does seem a bit of a daft claim at this stage in hindsight, but the guy is playing phenomenally well for the time being, and long may it continue.

It's not very often a manager goes up to an opposition player he doesn't know after a game to personally congratulate him on how well he played, as the fulham manager did yesterday.

It happens all the time. Klopp always go to Son. It's nothing new and not as big as a deal as you make it out to be.

I can appreciate the job PEH does but ability wise he has to give 110% every game because does not any real teckers. He is not fit to lace Dembele's boots but if you think so highly of him, knock yourself out lad.

I wasn't a big fan of his but I knew he gave us added quality in the squad. He's the sort of signing we should have made years ago when we were wasting our time with the N'Flops from the French league. Only thing is he has been worthy of a starting place. We now have 4 players where you don't really want to leave any on the bench.

I know you'll be pleased when he proves you wrong. Which I'm confident he will.

Btw, Klopp is likely doing that because he wants to recruit Son. I'm guessing Fulham have no ambitions of recruiting PEH (not for about 5 years anyway).

That was because Silva managed Richarlison at Watford.
