Maybe many football fanatics don't appreciate PSG's oil money but if you are a fan of football then this is a good read on the transformation of PSG from 433 under Poch to 343 under new coach Galtier. He seems to have implemented a style to get Messi, Neymar and Mbappe into 5th gear, something Poch failed to achieve.

Reading the article I had to think about Barca under Pep where Alves and Abidal would bomb forward stretching the field wide and keeping the defenders occupied whist Messi would cut through the middle causing havoc.
Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have made an explosive start to the new campaign, with 32 goals and assists between them already this season.
Maybe this year is PSG's year.
A CL final of PSG v CITY and Sandy will have a stroke for sure.

Speaking of sides that look good with a recently appointed manager, I reckon it's worth keeping an eye on Celtic's Ange Postecoglou. Tactically, he seems to be implementing cutting edge ideas and he also comes across as a very good communicator and leader. It's true that Celtic's advantage in the SPL provide favourable conditions for a half-decent coach to thrive but (a bit like ETH's Ajax) he has raised the standards beyond the norm. I'd guess he'll move on to a bigger league before long, if he has the ambition to do so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hes not for sale. Hes a diehard celtic fan and not going anywhere.
Would only be wasted in the premiership with your lose 3 games and your sacked policy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what Scottish fans always say just before their legends move to Southampton.

Have they fixed their midfield, always seemed pretty mediocre when Veratti wasn't fit (which is often).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They've certainly addressed it in no small way, having bought four CMs:
- Renato Sanches from Lille
- Vitinha from Porto
- Fabian Ruiz from Napoli (who was tipped by a few people as a smart alternative to Frenkie that United could have targeted)
- Carlos Soler from Valencia
From one point of view, that's typically extravagant PSG behaviour, but a few years ago they would probably have gone for Pogba and Casemiro.

City and PSG are just as bad as each other... financial fraudsters who dope and abuse FFP.
Don't forget City have higher revenue than ANYONE in football, but can't sell out their allocation for UCL knockout tie vs Madrid.
I wonder how that works then?

Tbf they could have done with Casemiro. They are still lacking a good defensive mid. Danilo is shiiiiiiit.

I'd score 32 goals in Ligue 1 by this stage.

Everyone knows someone who was a super-human footballer at school, 10 levels better than the next best person in their team and signed up to a serious youth side / maybe even a professional club's academy, we all knew they were going to make it as a footballer, but eventually they found their level playing for a non-league side.
And yet many of the same people tell themselves they would outperform highly paid professionals outside the top three of leagues in Europe.
