I wouldn't put it past Rudkin to reject an approach from Chelsea, only to then fire Rodgers a few days later...

Chelsea are sounding out Potter, so I doubt they'll be interested in Brendan.

Chelsea have been given permission to talk to Potter apparently. We can but hope that he storms through his interview keeping them from stealing our marvellous manager who's done such a wonderful job until he couldn't refresh the squad, err no until the players stopped listening to his instructions, err no until the fans started making the team nervous................well whatever the reason, it certainly isn't anything to do with the top, top manager we currently have.

So if they somehow don't appoint Potter, Chelsea need to keep their hands off Brendan, they must avoid taking another of our assets this season.
