This is my first time logging into this site since 2012 and I’m happy this site is still running though I don’t know most of the ppl on here anymore.
Now unto Mason mount.
I’m sick and tired of watching this player hold on to a CAM starting spot in our first team. He doesn’t score enough goals and won’t score more than 10 by May. He doesn’t assist enough and in 3 years now at Chelsea he doesn’t have up to 15 assists in the EPL. We will never win the league with this guy as our CAM. He’s not good at tackling or winning the ball all he knows how to do is press openings and look very busy on the pitch.
At Chelsea we have had some of the finest CAM’s in recent times like Lampard, Ballack, Hazard, Pedro, etc so it’s a disgrace we are settling for mediocrity now.
Apart from the UCL which was inspired by Tuchel, Mount’s time at Chelsea has been synonymous with mediocrity. How many finals have we lost since he joined? And he played a major part in all the losses, missing 1-on-1, passing to opponent keeper instead of shooting, etc. His time at Chelsea has been synonymous with us losing to Arsenal. How many matches will mount play against Arsenal and we have lost now?
Just because he’s a product of our Cobham academy doesn’t mean he’s untouchable. He’s too lightweight like pulisic and in fact both of them need to leave asap.

I think that you are mistaken with MM,he is a decent player ,and with Pots behind him ,I think we will see the best of him.

He's off form for a while now. Think he's too comfortable with not enough competition for his place.

Completely agree, Mount is Fackin woeful
Gets away with it because he’s English like Maguire did for United and look how good they are without him now

Mount's definitely had a really poor season so far and has been utterly invisible. But he's also been really good and definitely one of our best players in both the Lampard and Tuchel spells at the club.
I disagree that he's guaranteed a place. If he continues to underperform and doesn't pick things up under Potter then he'll be dropped and eventually replaced if he isn't good enough. That goes for any player.

Mount wasn't fantastic under Tuchel admittedly but none of the attackers were, he was still the best one which should tell you he's worth keeping at a minimum. Out of everything I could potentially worry about at Chelsea right now he's WAY down near the bottom of the list. To suggest he's been mediocre for his entire Chelsea career (i.e. including for Lampard) is ridiculous though.
Also some of the things you've said to enforce your point don't make sense. You can deploy the "he's a downgrade" card to the entire squad bar Silva & Kante on a good day. Not that he's terrible but my personal favourite is going from Cudicini, Cech, Courtois to Mendy
And saying he's cost us finals is just unfair. Terry missed the pen in Moscow + did his best to make sure 2012 didn't happen with that stupid knee to Sanchez at the Nou Camp. Doesn't affect my opinion of him as a great player & captain even a tiny bit.
