This will be brief because I'm using my phone as I'm on holiday and have just lost my initial effort somewhere in the ether.
Basically Barrow seem to function on high work ethic. So we need to match it and add some extra skill if we are to succeed. So I'll go for 1-1 (Rowe/Miller).

2-1 to Rovers. Miller. My head thinks a 1-1 draw but fingers crossed!

Yes Micky - what a sad time for so many of us.
Rovers lost too, but it’s only a football match.

The most depressing performance from the Rovers in a long time. When your three senior players have bad games, you know you have a problem. I've never seen Tommy Rowe make so many bad passes and mistakes. He had a great opportunity to score, and although it was our only shot on target, was soft and straight at their GK. Long also had a great chance to score with a header that should have made the net ripple.
Not one player had a good game, and I admit players like Miller had no service as we totally lost the mid-field. I still not see much in Biggins.
I'd have taken Moyneaux off rather than Hurst, and Jon Taylor was hardly ever played to, but at least showed some enthusiasm. Agard maybe needs some glue on his boots as he did not seem able to control any ball that came his way.
Mitchell should have saved the first goal, but in the end kept the score reasonable with some good saves. As far as the rest of the defence, there was no defence!
To say the least, very depressing. It will be hard to get up for a 07:00 KO on Saturday if all I'm going to get is a pathetic performance like this! Maybe I should watch a Premiership game instead.

I get the feeling there is a little unhappiness in the team re GMs tactics and selection. He got it very wrong again last night with how he asked them to play.

Calling out players like Miller publicly not a good sign

I’ll call out @McSheffreyGary for yet again being unable to tactically set a team up, leaving best LB on the bench, best attacking option at LB, Miller isolated up top on his own, very poor from the manager yet again, well out of his depth

Match report by Jack Peat who made the epic journey to watch the game.

I'd heard about that journey - incredible, and for less than 30 pounds as compared with the straight rail fare. What a terrible performance to watch after that enthusiasm.
I just watched the highlights, and I'd almost forgotten how bad it was. The DFP were a little generous with their scores of 5 and 6.
The overall impression seems to me to be slow and lethargic - their attackers easily out-paced our defence, but our attack did not seem to be able to out-run their defence.
I agree we need to play Maxwell and employ Rowe in attacking mid-field, probably replacing Biggins.
I hope it was a one-off for Clayton and Tomlin, and the latter must stop dramatically falling and getting a yellow for simulation. I like forceful players, but his continuing arguing with refs will get him into more trouble.
At the moment I'd start Hurst out left and Taylor on the right, and tell them to go round the full backs more often rather than cutting in to try and score. Taylor is the better at going round the defence. I know Hurst scored a great goal, but he has to mix it up more and try and feed Miller. I know Miller did not have a good game, but how could he getting almost nothing from mid-field or the wings.
Based on last night, I do not know who I'd have in the back four besides Maxwell. I'd probably start Faulkner again, but with whom?
May be six games do not make a season, or whatever they say about swallows.
