So, Jordi Cruff says follow your dream, thats why players go to Barcelona !
it's not the money at all !..... well I never !
The Barca Catalans ,are the most mercenary of all the Spanish speaking people and the city is not the most beautiful place in Spain by a long chalk !
So, if you could follow your dream irrespective of the money,
where would you wish to go if you were a professional player ?
Follow your dream !

Huddersfield onto Ajax, but only when I'm in the twilight of my career. Then it would just be a case of waiting for the pee-in-a-cup crew to bring down the final curtain.

Start my career at Bournemouth - spend my peak at Liverpool - retire at Nashville SC.

If I could go to another team to follow my dream ,it would have to be Seville, the most beautiful city in the world.

Whoa there horsey! More beautiful than Florence?
I wouldn’t put it above the likes of San Sebastián, Rome, Paris, Prague, Dubrovnik, or Venice either personally.
It’s quite majestic and beautiful around the palace, cathedral and Plaza de España, but most of the centre doesn’t have much charm, the outdoor spaces aren’t that well used, and neither is the riverside, which is woefully underdeveloped IMO.
(Plus the food in Andalusia is pretty crap compared with most of the rest of Spain.)

Really Rosso, everyone to their own I suppose, must admit that I love Florence also a beautiful city, but Venice, nah not for me,gets too damp at times and the locals are grasping .
As for the food in Andalucia being crap, well you obviously don't have much taste !

My dream career would be very boring. Would settle at any club that could provide enough money to give me & my family a comfortable life & only leave if the club desperately wanted to cash in or I didn't get on with several of the other players. I wouldn't even consider going to Chelsea if I was happy where I was - wouldn't make the mistake Lukaku did.
I've never been ambitious & I doubt that would've changed if I was a footballer.

Devil....
Their is nothing wrong with being a dreamer !
Aldershot or Scunthorpe which is it !

I should add I would be ambitious enough to lash onto a PL opportunity, because the gulf in money could potentially set my family up for a few generations. A club like Crystal Palace lets say (very stable PL team), if I was happy there would never leave

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that
It's possible that the missus and I have seen a little too much of Sevilla. It's only about a three hour drive for us, so we've done it a few times now. I still think it's great; it's just missing a little charm for me.
Generally speaking, I prefer the food this side of the border to the Spanish side; but the best Spanish food is in the north, by a country mile for me. The Basque country, the rest of the north coast, and, to an extent, Catalonia, all have much better food. Asturias the very best I reckon.

Madrid or Barca for me. If I were an ageing pro then maybe join Becks in Miami.

I have to agree on the food in the Galicia and Asturias areas,or in the north in general ,wonderful food and they do have their food festivals which are mind blowing especialy in Asturias, but the weather can sometimes be very British at times .
