not really no, just pinned them in pressed well etc. defended well for the most part. felt we played well just could have done better in the final 3rd which is often the case with us tbf.

an anti football team would have more like 200 passes and 20-30 % possession. wasnt to do that they just got outplayed outfought for the majority of the game. prob the first team this season we've outfought, not counting bournemouth just rolling over.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

In fairness ajax have done the usual but they had 2 players who wanted to leave and frankly they were absolute hackers.

Alvarez was indulged by that ref. 7 fouls, 3 from behind, a couple really obvious pro foul drag backs and no card.

They fouled first then tried to deal with set peice and largely couldn't get out.

The fact trrent undid his entire first half bu just not bothering to track his man and left them 2 v matip and a goal is so annoying at that should have been a routine 3 or 4 goal win

Missed a load of chances as well though MITO. We need to start sticking those away… however nothing like a late winner !

Had some fools STILL leaving with ten mins to go.. mental.
