for different clubs?
Arsenal's league game with Manchester City, originally set for 19 October, has been postponed to allow the rearrangement of the Gunners' Europa League tie against PSV Eindhoven.
So why would the Prem not allow Spurs to postpone the Leicester fixture last season to accommodate the postponed UEFA Conference Tie?
Definitely seems highly unfair that Spurs were booted out of a European competition because the Prem would not allow them to cancel a Prem game, so that they could play their final game of the group, yet they are allowing Arsenal to.
Am I missing something here?
Are there different rules in place

Arsenal have a history built on dodgy decisions from the authorities helping them out. Look at how they were promoted in 1919.

That’s why it was even sweeter when bottling the north London derby last year back fired so spectacularly

Agreed this is a bit harsh on us when compared to last season
Yes there is a World Cup to think about but still doesn’t seem right

It’s to suit Man City. Same as usual… ridiculous the amount of VAR/EPL decisions they get in their favour.
Pep’s favourites are those EPL executives

Woolwich have been dragged along by the authorities for years, hell they even had their owner as vice chairman of the FA, influencing things in their favour.
So the news that the authorities are once again bending over backwards to help them should come as no surprise.

If the likes of Levy ( or whoever else comes out at the sh*t end of the stick ) sits on their hands and does nothing, such decisions will continue for the favored clubs.
Surely Levy, as at the Chairman of a "big 6" club is more than capable of picking the phone up and ringing the FA, threatening legal action ? I mean, the club WERE just adhering to the government laid down Covid laws at that time.
Maybe the truth is that he ( and the club ) were happy to fall out of that excuse for a European competition, and decided to do nothing.
My guess is it was a threat to be booted out of this season's CL, Levy would have shouted long and hard.
That said certain clubs ( City and Arsenal in particular ) do seem to get just what the want all the time. You only need to think back to Arsenal's request to cancel last year's NLD for that. Every man and his dog knew full well that using Covid as an excuse was a bag of horse sh*t, and they were ducking the game due to injuries and banned players.

Agreed Steve, I am astonished that Levy just took the expulsion on the chin, without even appealing it. It was like he could not be bothered with the competition. He definitely should have kicked up a stink in my book.
