I don’t think he was underrated. Most recognised how amazing he was.

I think it was Cordoba who once said to him (when he was not sleeping, getting hammered and still scoring goals)

"you are likea mixture of Ronaldo and Ibra, you do you realise you could be the best in the world?"

I've no doubt many know he was at a high level but I just don't think many understand just how insane he was, and how he could've been one of the best ever. He faded super young sadly. Most my age knew him cos he had 99 shot on pro evo 😂

Yeah but that’s more a case of unfulfilled potential than being underrated.

Lentini. Guy before his car crash would be stupid $ nowadays but I guess that's not your conventional football injury 😂

It's mad when u actually think about so many names that could've been legends but for injury, bad fortune or losing an interest in the game.

Obviously not underrated but hardly ever gets put in a United 11 is big Edwin, totally unflappable, assured keeper, made things look easy with very little fuss

Pickford is sh.t next to the league’s best far less the world’s best. He’s only a ‘thing’ cos there’s no outstanding better which is a poor excuse.

I think his individual performance in the 15/16 PL win is phenomenal and incredibly underrated. His record 11 games scoring streak is underrated too, His 100 goals after the age of 30 is also underrated. If Vardy played in the PL before age 20 he could have broken every goal record.

Only if he was good enough to be a PL player then. Was he good enough? I don't think so. He scored 20 goals in the Championship in the 2 seasons before they got promoted to the PL in 63 games. Then in his first season he only got 5 goals in 34 games. After that he kicked on massively, but he simply wasn't a PL level striker before then.
