Leicester are the 10th side to pick up one point (or none) in their opening seven Premier League games.
Only Southampton in 1998-99, Newcastle in 1999-2000, Sunderland in 2013-14 and Crystal Palace in 2017-18 have stayed up from that start.
Only seven teams have netted more than Leicester's 10 goals in the league this season. But their problem has been how leaky they are at the back.
Their 22 conceded is the most by any top-flight team after seven games since West Ham in 1965-66.
Since the start of last season, Leicester have conceded 25 goals from set-pieces in the Premier League, the most of any side in this period.
Danny Ward has faced 44 shots this season and conceded 22

So almost half of the 9 teams have stayed up. Sounds positive!
How many of them sacked their manager during or after those 7 games?

3 out the 4 that stayed up sacked their managers.

The only goalkeeper I have ever since who visibly shrinks when he is facing a shot. Probably the worst goalkeeper to be a starting No.1 in Premier League history. We'd be better off sticking a traffic cone in goal.

Newcastle's struggle was under Ruud Gullit after he had pretty much declared war on Alan Shearer and other senior players. If I remember correctly, he was sacked after a local derby defeat on a Monday night. Could be something familiar in that...
Palace were transitioning to a different style under De Boer and were an absolute basketcase. Southampton in the late 90s and Sunderland in the early-mid 10's were perennial strugglers so not sure if there was anything particularly abnormal about those two.

I am amazed that Brenton persists with Danny Ward, he is not good enough at this level and needs to be replaced - just how bad are Iversen and Smithies?

Dave was an absolute gent and got treated appallingly. He was a superb tactician and had us playing much better than our position showed. But we just couldn't get results on the road.
