It does matter. Our coefficient will drop and probably get a harder qualifying group for the euros. Though I accept we should still qualify for it.

In the technical sense it may not matter, but the whole point of the nations league is to see how good you are against teams supposedly at the same level as you, rather than just winning easy games in qualifying.

Do you expect England to fare any different in the toughest matches at the world cup?
