Any news on Stones?

Hammy isn’t it? Shame because we are normal at our strongest when it’s Stones at CB alongside any of the others.

Can see Walker starting now and then going off

Akanji looking a good signing. He looks a top player but mainly because we have persistent injuries in defence.
Stones will be out for a month atleast. Didn't look a precaution, he was genuinely injured.

Cheeky bid for slab head in January maybe

I agree that Stones at CB seems to give Walker some comfort so he will be a miss. He may struggle to be fit for the WC which leaves England with slabhead and Dier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cancelo - Dias - Akanji - Gomez across the back should be ok as long as Rodri in front of them is at the top of his game.

Can't see it being gomes he went stone - akanji - Dias - Cancelo vs Wolves. It will be Walker stones straight swap.

Yeah reckon Walker gets rushed back in, taken off after a hour or so

I didn't see any of the England games did he look rusty? I'm sure pep said before wolves he was close to being back and was on the bench for that game.
So hopefully he is back up to full speed. Problem is he hasn't been great so far this season and the injuries are starting to creep in. So subbing him could be the idea even if he feels fully fit.

Hopefully we have learned from last season that rushing Walker back isn’t a good idea
