Interesting though, what is Victor's role? To identify the talent, which in the case of these three, he has done. To sell the club and the project to the talent which in the case of these three, he has done or to coach them so they acheive something for the first team.
I never "creamed over Orta" but he certainly deserves some credit when he does get talent through the door regardless of whether they kick on or not.

I give credit too, but right now, claiming these 3 as a success, and you have to remember they have cost us some money and 'forced' us to loan out now of our most expensive players, is premature at best.

Identifying talent is a small part of it.

Identifying talent that fits our environment and as we keep getting told, are better than we already have and we actually sign is just the start.

Then them playing for first team and making a difference is another, none of these are doing that.

Yes he should get credit for the signing absolutely, once in the door the coaching staff are responsible for developing the player. He is identifying players based on what the head coach wants at the club.

I could be wrong but wasn't James signed because Bielsa wanted it? Was James loaned out to fund the transfer of Darko, Wilf and Sonny or because we signed the likes of Luis and Brendan he was surplus to requirements?

And the response was clearly regarding the Ideguchi signing. Two paragraphs two different points. Orta should be credited for the signing regardless of whether the player works at the club, his job is to be with talent recruitment, nothing more nothing less.
