Man City XG was 3.01. Rangnick used to draw 1-1 with XG like that and get blamed for our sides wasteful finishing. Then again last season Man City were most clinical side in the league after Rangnick took over and Man Utd least clinical.

I honestly think if Fred played in goal this year we would have conceded less ad De Gea just stands in his goal and does nothing. It annoys me seeing top goalkeepers like Allisson doing everything they can to try to stop shots and he was best in the league last season and then you have De Gea nowhere near the ball watching it go in as he is so lazy. I honestly now think De Gea is the laziest goalkeeper in the league. Noticed it for last few years. Crosses he won’t try to do anything with even if easy catch 1yd in front he rather our defenders clear it. We actually conceded around 8 goals this year alonr from crosses 1-3yds past our goaline as De Gea does his dumb statue look. Honestly shocked how someone that bad can be Man Utd goalkeeper still. He is like stealing a living on £375k a week. He has become so bad it is between Ward and De Gea for worst keeper this season.

De Gea has cost us around 5 trophies in last 5 years and he now has the audacity to just let shots in without trying. He is like a liability. I want us to get Luis Enrique in as Ten Hag assistant so he can get rid of De Gea. He quickly worked out De Gea is terrible at everything. I don’t get how Pep can realise Bravo ain’t good enough, Klopp can with Karius, Chelsea even bought Kepa for a big fee and replaced him with Mendy and yet we stick with De Gea who concedes goals for fun. He concedes them against anyside as all they have to do is shoot on target and it most likely is a goal against him. I think De Gea since around 2015 has conceded around 20 goals from 25 yards out or more near straight at him as he is scared of the ball, has slow reactions and has butter fingers. I seen so many goals when De Gea plays and easy catches or palmed away by Romero and Henderson. That is why when Romero and Henderson played for us we kept clean sheets for fun as they make the routine saves and position themselves well in goal. They both fill the goal really well while De Gea has like skinny legs and no presence. No wonder when we play everyone tries to go in on De Gea from corners as they know he will stay on his line.

It annoys me as it feels like dejavu every year, we know we have a terrible goalkeeper and world class backups and we know the terrible goalkeeper will play the main games even if our best goalkeepers keep clean sheets every game. Ole deserved sacking cost us 2 EL for no reason 2020 and 2021 by taking out Romero and Henderson the 2 best goalkeepers in the EL for the worst.😂

I think Romero had 88% save percentage and Henderson around 89% and you guessed it De Gra against Sevilla 3 shots on target faced 2 goals conceded both saveable and the Sevilla goalkeeper saves 6 clear cut chances and we are out. Villareal 12 shots faced 12 goals conceded and you guessed it De Gea screws up his penalty. I never seen one player so damaging to a club before as De Gea and what is worse is he gets praised for it.

January player of the month De Gea. Man Utd most expected points in January and like the most dominant month in years. De Gea probably made 3 saves all month lol.

So we had 2 goalkeepers who averaged nearly 90% save percentage in 19/20 and 20/21 EL campaign and De Gea managed to concede 14 goals from 15 shots on target when we got eliminated and have his penalty saved. Talk about sabotage or what and the 1 shot he saved a baby could save.

Also Leipzig knock us out after De Gea costs us with inept keeping conceding 2 goals he shouldn’t have and conceding 3 goals from 4 shots on target. Oh well rant over. I am just annoyed I know how this season is gonna be now. Our best hope for this season to be successful is De Gea to get injured and Henderson to come back in.

They had better players who could pressure United players into mistakes and even when they declared at half time could still score at will. Sometimes you just lose to a better team, yesterday was one of those days for United. Be happy it wasn't 10, which it could have been.
