Conte play to our strengths

Conte for goodness sake play a formation that works to our strengths not our weaknesses! We have a fabulous front 3, and a pretty poor defence. Why sit back with 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders inviting all teams to camp in our half? We don’t even have world class defence…..but we do have world class attackers. Why not play 3 midfielders including a forward thinking creative attacking midfielder to link defence to attack, press higher up the pitch and play in the opposition half more. Would Skipp or Bissouma fulfil this role? Play to the obvious strengths of our team. Our squad isn’t good enough to camp in our own half and hope for the best our defence holds on. Camping in our half with bang average defence and wingbacks is not playing to our strengths. It’s obvious to most of us

The cracks are already there at Spurs. Brighton will win on Saturday too.

Maybe stay away from making predictions for a while. They are Sandyesquely wrong.

Surely you answer your own question....if our defence is weakness you don't expose it with an attacking formation...just ask Man Utd at the weekend

Am I understanding you correctly - you think it’s a good tactic with a weak defence to invite teams to camp inside our half of the pitch and create chance after chance for most of the game, hoping our average defence will hold out and we’ll get a lucky counter attack goal? It’s not like Kane is a quick pacy player on the counter…

There's zero point wishing for this. Besides our first couple of games in 16/17, where he used 4141 if I remember right, the only time I remember him using something different for us was 424 in the last 20 minutes vs. Huddersfield when we needed to win to keep top 4 alive.

He simply believes either 343 or 352 are superior systems to establish numerical overloads in both halves of the pitch, it's like Guardiola & 433, so he won't change because of personnel - he'll need a better reason.
