I have written this before on here. About 56 years ago I was coming from my girlfriends house in Miles Platting to catch the all night bus home, this was after a match. Just before the centre I saw three lads attacking one, they got him on the ground and started putting the boot him. One looked at me and I ran away.
I scanned the MEN every night to see if somebody had been killed or seriously injured. Luckily they hadn't.
It taught me I was a coward, when in my head I thought of myself as a hero.
In bed I was ashamed and vowed I would never do it again and be better. In small ways I have been, but never been called on in similar circumstances.
Why this? I have read Putin is not in Moscow, not in his office. But somewhere in the country, where he is reputed to have a luxury shelter.
It's a pity he didn't make the same vow. It would be far more important.
Threatening nuclear bombs on a smaller country that cannot reply, while having a stroll to safety, is cowardice on a large scale.
So a bully and a coward. Hard luck for the ordinary people of Russia.
Cowardice.

Russia still have a lot of options up there sleeve. Ukraine for me will likely become a country similar to Iraq and flattened if the war continues as Russia won’t concede. They will fight more dirty and harder. Also I see in the midst of this conflict China talking the opportunity to invade Taiwan. Think that’s a very soon event.

Don't think this'll happen at all. US will intervene, as required by US law, and China know they aren't winning that.
Also, look at how dismally things have gone for Russia in Ukraine, huge losses and massive depletion in artillery that they can't source as fast as the Ukraine with Western support.
China aren't stupid.

Unlike you to have such a negative view of stuff.
Seriously though, while those are not impossible scenarios, they're certainly not the only ones. China invading Taiwan would have the potential of being a mega destabilising event. The U.S. Department of State refers to Taiwan as "a key U.S. partner in the Indo-Pacific".

China want land back off Russia, they’re probably liking how badly this has gone for the Russians.
