Cancelo is probably the most complete full back in world football atm.

All fine players though.

what is included in complete robbing? I think james is stronger, better in the air, defending etc.

I also find it hard to judge city players as theyre all so facking good. I actually think city could lose KDB and still cruise the title, foden silva and even now grealish are so good

From an attacking perspective there is no better fullback on the planet than TAA.

But just saying he's the best attacking fullback doesn't really contribute to the debate.. we probably all know that, don't we?!

Of course it works for Liverpool - although I would argue that perhaps not enough has been done to work on his defensive skillset and it's part of the problems the team have at present.

We've been debating have we not?

I think TAA has been pretty poor this year defensively, and his effort can look questionable, but he's been badly let down by the midfield protection he's usually afforded.

Trent's weaknesses are vastly overstated. Yeah he hasn't started this season well, neither has the whole team.

He's also been up against some of the best the world has to offer in recent years and he's come out on top more than you can highlight his errors.

I'm factoring in that he plays both sides with ease and is genuinely two footed myself. I also think he is a better technical passer of the ball.

I like all of them a lot though, including James.

I'd say James is a more complete defender as he can play RCB and has a decent spring and strength in the air.

Well, we're talking about comparisons of probably less than 10 players in the world.

So I'm not sure they're overstated if they're considered in that context.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Don't disagree with that. I also don't think he's "bad" defensively by any means, just not as good as he is offensively and it's scrutinised endlessly.
