The point was that up until recent years, the club had no intention of developing youth for the first team. It was just a revenue generator.

And I’ve given plenty of evidence to prove it.

What has changed between the last few years and the period of tel:2010-2018/19?

Have you suddenly, fortunately just found a load of kids who can’t play football?

The whole debate has been about youth players getting into the first team. It was never about whether the club succeeded in making money from them… because right from the start I said they had.

That was the whole point ffs.

They wanted to make money from it and they lied about it being to generate players for the first team.

We’re talking about developing youth players that become part of the first team.

Obviously players who play a handful of games in the league cup are not included in that.

Thing is, when I admit I’m wrong, the conversation ends immediately.
