Clive Barker - The Great and Secret Show is a fantastic read.

Everville is also fantastic. Stuck with me as I read it at far too young of an age but the imagery it created stuck with me for years before I revisited and found that I loved it.

Can’t really go wrong with most Clive Barker imo.

Modern reboots usually butcher 80s classic horror by adding too many modern layers or giving it a modern twist, just for the sake of it.

Wasn't a great film but the cenobites were true to Clive original material, that hellraiser was originally based on. It's strange, I think I was a bit put off by how it had that 80s feel with the story but was shot like a modern horror. Wasn't polished enough to be great but didn't seem like a budget film either. Quite long at 2 hours and not as dark as It should have been. Story could have been way better and more fluid if they cut it down.

New pinhead is what stands out. If u loved the original it's worth seeing just for that.

Reimagining. No Frank scene.

It was okay. Decent even. Just…too clean for me. Not dark or dirty feeling enough. It needs to feel wrong. To feel evil and it never really does. It’s too modern I guess.

But at least the one with sunglasses isn’t a thing anymore
