For decades people looked up to stars they saw on TV. It's nothing new.
Guys want people who inspire them. You hardly find that in real life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a big difference between looking up to a star and following their whole mindset though.
In the 80s, for instance... Would I know what Bryan Robson thought about politics or how to treat a woman?.. Of course not.. I looked up to him for his skills on the pitch and seeming a likeable bloke... nothing more.
I'm not even saying it's wrong, maybe listening to an expert on the net for a specific subject is better than a friend or family member. It just seems like a lot of people who subscribe to this guy's point of view follow his every word. Which I find a bit odd and a bit dangerous.

There was some research done in Italy a few years back ( we used it as a possible research project ) that people under 25 were using social media and peers on line more than previous generations to guide their buying behaviour and this was leading to poorer quality purchases and decisions. These Influencers are quite powerful

You can't beat 'Which' magazine for big purchases.
Or Que Choisir for me.

They follow his every word because there is a void inside of them. They've rejected their values as it's failed them and are now open to almost anything.

It says more about Piers Morgan that he was willing to give this POS 1 hour of air time. Never liked Piers but even I didn’t think he could stoop that low
