Costa del Aylestone

“They ran themselves into the ground today, it was a HOT DAY as well for them, but they pressed the game, they kept fighting."

Brendan Rodgers, 15/10/2022.

Does Leicester have a unique microclimate issue going on? Is the city experiencing global warming at an accelerated rate? How hot is too hot? And if yesterday was too hot, how bad must it have been 2 months ago when we played Brentford on one of the hottest days of the year, and made a total of one substitution?

Or is the gormless wonder talking out his backside again? I suspect we know the answer...

It’s yin/yan. For every black hold of wind, rain and extreme cold like Stoke, there must be an opposite.

Could be the birth of a new football cliche.

...yeah, but could he do it on a hot afternoon in Leicester.

As has our owner. It’s almost impressive how Top and co have conspired to take a club with a really solid looking future off the hands of the late Vichai and absolutely trash it

Strangely enough it was quite hot in the stadium yesterday in the sun. I wasn't expecting that and dressed up warm, ended up shielding my face to stop it getting burnt.

Not hot like mid summer obviously.
