As things stand, the outlook is bleak. Even though our defence has gotten a little better since the start of the season, I can't think of a way that things will get better enough for us to stay in the Premier League.
Much has been said about SC's need to decide his best eleven and the team's requirement for time to gel. My concern is whether the players he has at his disposal are good enough even after they have had time to gel. I questioned whether it was prudent to spend £150,000,000 on the team. Considering the skill level of the players, I believe we've been short-changed. Physically and mentally, we are not quick enough to compete in the Premier League. I would have given the players who contributed to our promotion a second chance, and then I would have added additional players in January.
There are still those who believe we must reach the World Cup break in close proximity to the teams above in order to get back on track and conduct an effective preseason during the break.
My fear is that these players are just not good enough, and if we are relegated, they will not be able to bring us back up immediately.
I think it might be worth bringing Sean Dyche to work alongside SC, what have we got to lose?
Good enough ?

It's easy to be wise after the event.
I think most of the fans expected the rump of the promotion team to stay & Garner to come back on loan or bought; didn't happen.
The early stage recruitment was done by the guys who've been sacked, they looked to the German market and that has not been a success.
We got up without breaking the rules, it will be ironic if this spending see's us break the rules on relegation though. It will show that the system is broken unless you come up, go down & come up again.
Bringing Dyche in would see Cooper walk imo.

Actually, I raised the alarm before we embarked on the spending spree.
I thought we should only spend what we can bring in similar to Norwich City.
If it meant being a yo-yo club until equilibrium had been established, so be it.
Unless these players improve drastically, we will be left with a massive wage bill and players we cannot give away and risk bankruptcy.
Our only hope is they are at least capable of winning promotion from the Championship.
But imho they are mid-Championship quality at best.

Have they announced the date of the WBA v Forest Championship league game yet for season 2034/24?
Doomed I tell thee, we’re doomed!
