99 - I have a big problem with it. Like a prime minister is there to serve its people, a football manager is here to serve the club and it’s fans.
The second a person thinks they’re bigger than the country and it’s people, or the club and it’s fans, they can go … themselves.
For me, Rodgers needs to realise he is a servant as well as a leader. It’s not all about him. If he continues to behave like this he will destroy his relationship with the fans and there will be protests to get him out.
This isn’t terminal. But if Rodgers is going to stay, he sure needs to make more effort to repair the relationship with the fans. Quickly.
What arrogance to think he doesn’t need to.

What a sanctimonious belllendd you are. 18 months ago you were on here speculating that Rodgers could potentially be one of our greatest ever managers if he won the FA cup and delivered top 4

Not at all Mersey. There’s only one person going around here reminding everyone he knew Rodgers was ahiiiit all along and it’s definitely not you!

Phew.
I’m finding it hard that Rodgers brought us the FA Cup for the first time in our history yet the relationship between him and the fans have broken down.
I basically blame him for that, which is the problem. The way he has criticised everyone but himself, talked down the club and fans and now seems to be playing the victim is really making me angry.
It can be repaired. If we’re not sacking him he needs to come out and apologise, praise the club and make an effort to appreciate the fans. Maybe ask for their support and then applaud it.
But what he needs to do is stop behaving like he’s being hard done to and start showing some respect. Maybe he’ll get some back.

I think it’s gone beyond repair personally Mersey which is a shame. If you were being balanced about Rodgers, you can’t criticise him on the one hand for where we are but not credit him for when we’ve been.
He got very close to the maximum out of the squad for 2 years and he had something to show for it which not many other Leicester managers do. In the end though it’s all come apart and that’s partly his doing and partly the financial situation the club has got themselves into
Make no mistake I’m not defending him. He’s not a particularly nice character and he’s responsible for what’s happening on the pitch. It’s a shame however that the manager who brought us our first FA cup will forever be hated by many - that is his own fault

Yep. Totally agree.

Interesting comments, not disagreeing with them, but as he won us the FA Cup in particular, in addition to doing well in the League, does he have Leicester Legend status?
For me the answer is yes at the moment, but he's at risk of challenging Peter Taylor for the biggest ******* title (insert suitably derogatory word of your choice) with his antics and the possibility of wrecking the club.
