I may be wrong....

But that disallowed goal looked like Emerson headed the ball backwards...ie not a forward pass, and it was knocked forward by the defender to Kane. You can only be offside from a forward pass.

Would be helpful if BT showed a fecking replay...but if I am right them it is totally amateurish reffing and the PL would not be alone in having inept VAR officials.

The offside lines they showed very very briefing seemed miles apart so why 3 minutws to do an offside check?

Oh I can, but I am bored of you already.

TOOR will understand, that's the main thing.

I don't understand. I never said they 'bent' lines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Winston can't even explain his own comment. He is also adamant that had the goal been given then Sporting fans wouldn't have batted an eyelid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's one of those ones that's so tight, no matter which way it went, somebody was gonna be annoyed. Certainly if you're against VAR you're gonna claim everybody would have been fine had VAR not called it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And also if you're an idiot.

What did you say then, when you claimed the lines were intentionally manipulated in order to favour the opposition?

Or have you forgotten?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I remember but it wasn't that the lines were bent. I believe, and I'm not 100% on this as it was some time ago, I stated that the dotted lines down to the actual lines were diagonal. Think it may have been a Mane disallowed goal.

Right, so either way, the official decided to manipulate the lines to ensure Liverpool were punished.

Kind of ruins welshpool's assertion that the technology is straightforward and non-debatable.

Perhaps you two should talk.

It doesn't really. It actually has no bearing on my point. Shame the point was a bit too complex for you

Yes it does welshpool, it's just that as usual, your tunnel vision means you're incapable of understanding anything outside of your own view.

No, I'm just competent enough to be able to point out all the times you are wrong. In almost all of those occasions there are multiple people doing the same thing so the common denominator is usually dishonest Winnie.

Now that we have cleared that up I'm going to leave you to it. We know you are incapable of not getting the last word I so you can feel like you have somehow won so I won't deprive you of what little achievements you can get.

The usual ramblings.

No, welshpool - you don't understand. If you were even half as intelligent as you think you are, you'd be dangerous.

As it is, you're just an angry man on the Internet who can't admit he's wrong and needs things in neat little boxes, because he works in some sort of crappy middle management job and doesn't possess the skills to succeed in life.

The frustration oozes out of you.

Welshpool

"Just one decision going our way could have meant Liverpool won the title"

"I didn't link refereeing decisions with finishing positions"

Also Welshpool:

"I can admit when I'm wrong"

An all time classic of JA606.

What i dont get about hpw they have drawn the lines is that the blue line goes from Emersons head, on the right side and passes down through his left shoulder. How can that be right.

Also, if you drew a shadow on the ground directly under the ball then the shadow of the ball would be up to but not beyond the blue line. it would not look right whatsoever and would imply that Emersons entire body if closer to the goal that the ball. He is at a slight angle in the air but its not so much as to make the sort of alignment that this VAR decision is reaching.

Anyway, i thought UCL VAR used a new system:

https://twitter.com/PoorEPLreferees/status/1567211772385312768

which did away with bent refs drawing lines badly.
