Agree with the sentiment, although I couldn’t be bothered reading it all.
Got sent that in November 2009 Rangers lost 4-1 at home to Unirea, having lost by the same score to Sevilla at Ibrox, and only having won 5 of our 9 SPFL games.
Big difference would’ve been Smith’s interviews. Although Gio’s had injuries, he been accepting piish, can only imagine he’d the same in the dressing room

It's too easy to look at it that way though, can you see this improving?
I'm torn tbh but he's not Walter ffs. Tims were feart of his sides even when we were woeful

Thats my point it’s not the results that’s the issue, it’s the lack of any reaction from him, and the turgid displays from the players with no fight
Gio’s done a good bit better that Gerrard, yet more folk stuck by Gerrard even when we were pash and results were worse

Disgusting.

Gerrard won the league unbeaten ffs and was top of the league. He didn't take over a league winning team 4 points ahead to finish 4 behind.
Gio needs his jotters.

Was his team performing as well as had been previous season? From memory (which is admittedly fuzzy) I thought there was a real dip in performance at the start of the 21-22 season and although it hadn’t translated through to points, rangers were scraping over the line and had a tough run of fixtures coming up when Gerrard walked out on them.

I mean, we can hardly laugh ourselves. But that being said

No but they were still top of the league with a gap

Gerrard also lost every cup he played in, failed to qualify for the champions league, performed worse in the Europa, and had a worse points per game record in the league.
Never said Gio didn’t. But absolutely daft to act like Gerrard’s results were much better.
