That’s him done until after the World Cup. Down to just Kane, Lucas & gill for the next 3 games

Like luka said there are options
Conte will pick 352 with kane and lucas up top though which I don't particularly like

Lucas has been awful. I would prefer Gil, or just Kane as a lone striker. And just flood the midfield.

agreed. Gil deserves more minutes on the pitch

Hmm Gil v Robertson is a huge mismatch.

Are all out injuries bad luck or just a consequence of Conte’s refusal to rotate his best players? Not bashing him, just asking the question. Now our top players are out, this really puts Kane at risk before the World Cup.

Kulu was injured whilst playing for Sweden. Rico had an old calf injury and has been rotated.
Romero not sure and Son was an accident caused by impact.
Yeah blame rotation 🤷♂️

The Son one I agree was an impact injury but the others, and I suspect there will be more over the coming two weeks, are fatigue injuries. I'm amazed Kane is still standing but then I don't think he chases after lost causes like he used to. I think he understands his body better.
Players like Hojbjerg and Bentancur have been run into the ground. They must be nervous for the world cup given how many minutes they've played. I don't think these lads even get a holiday after the WC is over either.
This schedule is brutal. FIFA/UEFA should be ashamed of themselves for demanding it, with a squeezed calendar rather than a reduced one, all to accommodate a World Cup in a region with major human rights violations. The players and club staff are bending over backwards to facilitate their sport-washing. It's a joke.
The argument is that this will bring about long term change. It won't. They said the same about Russia, remember?
Anyway, I've completely gone off topic. Proper bummer about Sonny.

Well, Conte has not rotated anywhere near enough, but that is purely a consequence of being left with a short squad by Levy. Many of the back ups are either not rated by Conte or already proven to be not good enough.

Hasn't been having a great season anyway so won't be a huge loss. Would like to see Gill get a run out now but not sure Conte will see it that way.

I also think Kane has been managing his in game work load, we very rarely see him sprinting back to defend like he used to and chasing things down, pressing etc.
Maybe these rumours we are conserving energy in the first half of games has some truth to it.

I do think it’s more energy sapping to chase the ball though. I recognise the demands of this season are like no other but it doesn’t help that we don’t control games.
