Who's up for the cup? 100 years since the season Bolton won the fa cup for the first time in the first Wembley cup final. To commemorate this Bolton are playing in a replica of that kit with no advertising logo on it. Recent history hasn't been good. Since reaching the 4th round and getting beat by Bristol City away in 2019 there have been first round exits to Plymouth, Crewe and last season against Stockport which went to replay. This season again if a draw today then a replay at oakwell with extra time and penalties. Not something that is good for clubs this time of year with the heavy schedule and the prospect of Injuries. Let's not forget last season where Sheehan was injured for the season, bakayoko picked up an injury which ruled him out for weeks and the knock on effect which caused a limited squad further injuries including Isgrove for the season forcing evatt to play his only 11 fit players. Team news. Hopefully no such issues this season with a 24 man first team and the b team. The first real injuries of the season reported with Aimson out for 6 weeks and Isgrove for 3/4. The starting 11? Anyone's guess but I would expect cup keeper Dixon to play and Santos to be wrapped in cotton wool and saved for the league match at Cambridge next Saturday. The rest hopefully a start for Toal and Beck to freshen the side up. From a personal perspective Jones and Williams have looked jaded recently and would rest those 2 although Williams is banned next Saturday so may play today. Hopefully a result either way with no replay and no long term injuries picked up. Kick off 2pm a first in my lifetime. This is to accommodate the champions of champions snooker tournament.

Adam Senior gone to Telford on loan for month or more.
That's four is it out on loan now from the B team.
Perhaps IE should loan out some 1st team players, it might help him out with the rotation and selection headaches.

Going round in circles with senior. Either give him a chance in the first team(a year since he last featured)or let him go and find a career elsewhere like Darcy.

How is IE motivating the team and larger squad these days?
After watching the first goal against us last weekend it makes you think it isn't high up on his to do list.
With all IE's ranting on the touchline and in the BEN. It's hard to imagine IE motivating players at half time, his stress levels must be off the scale by then.
I tried to imagine his pre match and training motivation speeches, I fell asleep thinking about it.

Just like Christmas, the January transfer window malarky starts earlier every year.
It won't be long before the transfer windows merge into one great big patio door.

Ian Evatt on his Tinkerman antics.
“I don’t want to make changes, I’m not Claudio Ranieri or any of these tinker men or whatever you want to call me,” he said. “I am making changes because I don’t feel like I’m getting the consistency of performance from the team that is selected.
Perhaps if he played a settled team he might just get the performances that he wants.

I've offered Neil Hart the solution to his iFollow comments a few times but still, he no answer.
All you do is open up iFollow to allow away clubs who are Xhrs away by coach the ability to show the game on iFollow.
What would you choose? 2.5hrs, 3 hours 3.5hrs away or more hours away by coach you can watch on iFollow.
Tick the box for less long coach journey's = less carbon emissions.
Vote for me The Olde One.

Just open it up and get more money into the club's. It wouldn't affect attendances imo.

They won't go that far. It'll worry the clubs in the higher leagues, they like their Sky numbers and will want to protect that.

I might start the Cambridge thread tonight as a bit busy the next day and a bit, I'm not going mad.

Now we've reached 101, go for it as soon as you like.
We could do with a head start with it being Cambridge away.
