Considering the circumstances, a great 3 points for City!
A couple of salient comments:
- Yet another painful performance from Grealish. Don't quite know what Pep sees in him? He seems to be very slow and very predictable. Possible transfer bait maybe???
- Was great to see Pep get on Foden's case from the sidelines in the final moments of the game for not chasing after a slightly inaccurate pass. Foden didn't play the whole game so he can't blame fatigue as an excuse. He needs to mature!
A win is a win is a win.....

He likes Grealish as he’s very good for retaining possession up the pitch. That and the amount of space he creates for others.
Think he suits playing with Haaland more than Alvarez though and really could benefit from us having an attacking left full back option that would stay wide.

Don’t think there isn’t a club that wouldn’t want grealish in its squad
Says enough for me
He is a very classy player but maybe has lost a bit of his bite / appetite he had at villa cos he got his move
Got comfy

I doubt it's that. It's more likely just a big fish, small pond to medium sized fish in big pond scenario. Pep also probably asks for him to play in a different way than he was at Villa, where he was the main man and was free just to get on with it.

Has Pep ordered Jake not to shoot even if he's got an open goal in front of him?
He does slow the game down which can be useful but only if you're 3 goals up.

He sees it as useful against most teams that defend deep too. It stops us being as vulnerable to the counter and allows us to retain possession a lot higher up the pitch, which is how he wants us to break those down.
