First of all, I've lost my voice.
Secondly, have we proved that we finally learnt from the Real Madrid capitulation?
Thirdly, Alvarez is the perfect replacement for Sergio. The guy has all the Agüero attributes and more. Unfortunately for him, he is currently being overshadowed by Haaland. Look at his thunderbastard today... no-one is talking about that because of the injury time penalty. I feel for the guy.
We spent ages relying on a false 9, and now we have two superb strikers.
C'mon City.
We've got to talk about Julian

I actually thought the Alvarez goal was a keeping error. It is a hard shot, but it’s straight down the middle, the problem is that the keepers already started to go down in instalments because he thinks the shot is going across him.
The Keeper really should have saved the penalty as well, went under him in the end.

Sheer power took it past the keeper, I wouldn't call it an error.
Leno was unlucky with the pen, it looked like he'd saved it from my viewpoint.

That Alvarez goal coming in from wide with an tightening angle to fire into the roof of the net - pure Sergio. He can play a great pass too. It was the red card that screwed his day up rather than Erling I think. The crazy thing about football is that the buzz at the ground yesterday was sensational - far more than if we'd given them a routing 5-0 thrashing.

I think most keepers would be expecting it to go low, couldn’t of hit it any more into the roof of the net though so be a bit harsh to put it down to keeper error. Right goal. Would love to see him running off Haaland

Alvarez had a blinder against Sevilla as well. I think he will be a huge asset. May not have the goal tally of the viking but a more versatile player.

Definately like a couple of Segio's goals.
The one's against United at OT and the one against Leicester when we beat them 5-0 spring to mind.
