You know I love a good stat, but what does that actually prove? What is the timescale?

I remember that was that tedious VVD stat in which he wasnt "dribbled past" for a year - but somehow had committed fouls and a whole other bunch of things that didn't attribute to it. In fact defensive statistics are typically pretty sheit in evaluating a CB.

I'm a Dier fan, more so than a lot of people on here, I think hes good but not great. The weekends performance summed him up well - a pretty shocking mistake but countless quality cross-field balls and for a point our most prominent creator in our team.

I think he is completely fine for our team and deserves to be in our squad, but I'd be more than happy to see him upgraded albeit I think there are more priority positions.

I think his position is a priority. He is the poster boy for making defensive errors and a new face in his position might actually make those around him better including captain idiot.

Also someone else playing in his position might be morr proactive in winning the ball and be able to play better quality long balls.

I don’t know I’ve never seen or heard of the bloke he’s referring to.

The point I’m making is that saying - or taking the pizz by saying - that one guy looks like another guy isn’t racist just because they are black. If a black dude says Jamie Vardy looks like Albert Steptoe is that equally racist?

However, I haven't seen Dons article either so I don’t know whether there’s a legit inference of racism or whether this is a case of being tenuously offended.

In context of the comment it was related to Don's comment. I had him filtered so only saw it when Sizz highlighted it and tbh I don't get it - but reckon comparing someone to some random slave (i think?) character is a bit off.

I'm not sure, our strongest lineup sees a considerable improvement with a competent RWB (and I'm starting to wonder a better LWB too). Plus another creative player is much more essential + I'm starting to think a Hugo upgrade is more of a priority too.

He should have been replaced last summer for me but oh well.
