That’s been the narrative for a long time and some of it is justified. It’s worth bearing in mind he got personally exonerated of any wrongdoing though and ultimately he was never a decision maker when it came to World Cup bids.

He’s guilty of some horrendous ideas and some very dubious relationships at the least. There’s far worse actors inside and outside of football influencing it than anything he did though.

Don’t think that’s true is it? They were accused of it, some got found guilty. Others had accusations but either they got overturned or they were never charged.
