On Saturday Wolves welcome Arsenal to Molineux for the final game before the world cup break.

Arsenal, currently top of the league have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season.
Their stats are
P 13
W 11
L 1
D 1
F 31
A 11

In the same period Wolves stats are
P 13
W 2
L 8
D 4
F 8
A 22

In all good faith given those stats and the fact that Wolves have at least 6 first team players unavailable due to either injury or suspension, three of which are strikers, coupled with the fact that they have an interim head coach, I cannot predict anything but a comfortable win for Arsenal.

Wolves fans can only hope that the presence of newly appointed manager Julen Lopetegui watching the game from the stands will have a positive effect on the players and inspire them to at least make a game of it.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Villa win away at Brighton to continue their rise up the table. Their new manager Emery made his name at Seville just like Lopetegui. In his three full seasons there Emery finished 5th, 5th and 6th. Lopetegui in his three full seasons there finished 4th, 4th and 4th

Watched the game from my hospital bed, didn’t do my heart a lot of good.
Ref a complete to**er, his decisions were terrible. All his decisions benefitted Arsenal and he gave us nowt.
Had we had that penalty I reckon Arsenal may have panicked.
As for Arteta saying half the team was sick is belittling and unprofessional.

Anyway treatment tomorrow, I hate hospitals.

Best wishes to all our fans and let’s hope the New year is better than this one.

Are we allowed to recall Fabio?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anderlecht have an agreement to keep him for the season. If we want to recall him we would have to agree a compensation deal with Anderlecht
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a ridiculous situation that would be, having to pay Anderlecht a load of money to get our own bloody player back.

All the best Boston 👍

It's likely that Anderlecht will have had to pay a fee to loan Fabio. So recalling him early would mean that we would have to pay compensation on that deal.
