The season before last Rashford got 33 goals and assists combined numbnuts 😂

This season he's on course for similar.

One bad season basically.

Last season he got 4 pl goals in 25 appearances in pl.

This season his all round performances have been slightly better but still not great.

You can make a point without going full on post-truth. He's had two 20+ goal seasons in the past three years, and has been in good form this season. Also playing more often than Toney against teams that play a deep, packed defensive line.

Southgate is well known for picking players who have performed for him and Rashford has a good track record for England, last season aside.

I could have two 20* seasons at Utd playing in the Europa. Na I’m being hyperbolic, but in all honesty he’s been poor, his only redeeming quality is when he scores. His all round games been poor.

Toney has scored 1 less goal half way through a season, than rashford has in his last two full seasons.

Yeah I agree that Southgate should have found a spot for in form Toney and I actually think Southgate would have not taken Maddison if iether Reese James or Chilwell were fit. He likes loads of defenders and I expect Maddison will only get limited sub appearances like Grealish and we limp out of the group but get eliminated soon after, most probably on Penalties!

I think he’s right in that Rashford shouldt be in the squad though he really has been awful.

He could be a useful weapon in the tournament. He’s looking much sharper and is one of the few players in the squad that has scored goals for England, as well as offering a threat in behind. We’ll be relying too much on Sterling to offer that threat as the rest of the squad haven’t been able to do any that.

Can only go by the games Ive seen and by fellow Utd fans. Plus 4 in 12 isn’t that great. Sterling got better than that and he’s been complete dog sh!t
