Attention for the next month now turns to the World Cup. Utterly bizarre but it is here and I'll enjoy it as always.
Brazil have to be favourites. Their attacking prowess is frightening and if they can make it gel like their 2002 team they'll be hard to stop.
People are touting Argentina but I'm not seeing enough strength. England haven't progressed in the 4 years since I said they could win the next WC.
Germany, France, Spain all strong and with a bit of luck could go far.

Eredevisie side FC Utrecht are keen to sign Celtic loanee Vasilis Barkas on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
The Dutch club DO NOT have an option to buy & there are other clubs monitoring the situation

Got the wife's family staying with me for the next six weeks so we'll be backing the Argentina squad in my household. At least it makes it interesting for me and hopefully they get a good run. They've been doing well in South American qualifying and looking pretty strong so we're optimistic.
