Further to my Mbappe nomination for Golden Boot, I write off Kane's chances because of Southgate's usually cautious style of play. I would rather see England giving it a thrash than fail to qualify from the group stage by "playing like England". He has got a pretty good team there so let them play football and make us proud of the way the team plays.

With Kane, Wilson, Sterling, Rashford, Foden, Maddison, Saka, Grealish etc (I know they can’t all play), we should be a team bursting with goals. We’ll be cautious though, and group games will be draws or decided by the odd goal.

If he's fit , Sadio Mane will get the golden boots. Senegal could be a team to watch for sure

Flatrack Kane will score 6 in the group stage and then bottle it in the first knock out match.

Weird as in the euros he didn't score any in the group the scored against Germany in last 16, Ukraine in the quarters and Denmark in the semi final.

It is a really poor US team at the moment. Plenty of huff and puff but little quality. Same as Wales and England. The games to avoid watching if possible when any of those three face each other. Take it from a Wolves fan that knows crap when he sees it.
