I would have thought the most obvious reason people are inclined to believe the worst is the CPS reviewed the case and believed there was enough evidence for a reasonable chance of conviction, so pressed charges.

But I’m sure that would have been your number 4.

I have zero clue whether he’s guilty or not. The jury hear the evidence, we just get snippets through the press. I don’t assume he’s guilty but equally I certainly wouldn’t be on here defending the guy and deciding those who think he’s guilty must have decided so for racist, xenophobic or club reason ffs.

I can take criticism for calling Mendy, a man accused of 7 counts of rape, as rapey...but not from a blinkered hypocrit like you

Check back to about April and you'll see I stopped accusing Greenwood.

I said the idea that both should be afforded a fair trial was a notion that should be defended.

Instead of shooting your gob off, try reading the OP again - He asked about what was going on at Mendy's trial and I supplied a few links.

Firstly, you just said this "....anyone has evidence as damning as the videos that Greenwood's bird released to the public put them on here asap". Yet you state you're interested in a fair trial 🤔 Well if I pre judging Mendy then so be it, but the guy is at least being tried whereas the damning evidence on Greenwood has not seem him charged and put on trial. Your statement implies Mendy is on trial on flimsy evidence but its OK to prejudge Greenwood as the evidence is so "damming". Plain and simple hypocrisy.

As for your reporting of the Mendy case, if you want to appear more objective try highlighting information that isn't solely aimed at undermining the victim's accusations.

You ain't known for your objectivity when it comes to City so this is just expected behaviour from you tbh.

Feel free to highlight evidence and I mean evidence not just accusations and I'll highlight them too.

Mendy's defence has been gleaned from the accusers phones and CCTV.

The defence saying the women all knew each other.

From what I’ve read, I’m not sure the jury can give a guilty verdict - can they prove beyond reasonable doubt?

Some of the claimants refused to give police their phone. That creates doubt.

Some returned to his place again and again afterwards. Again, surely that provides doubt.

There’s no actual evidence other than one persons word against another from what I’ve read?
