How do people feel? The last few years, that 2016 onwards has been like a fkn disaster movie:
1..Brexit dragged on split the country;
2..Scotland voted on leaving the UK;
3..Awful pandemic and the anti Vs Pro vax vitriol;
4..Putin and the seemingly destructive of Ukrainian;
5..The threat of China to Taiwan;
All this plus the after effects in terms of oil price, overall energy price hike the interest rate hikes and people struggling with food payments and mortgage repayments; of course inflation and the pound hit an all time low. Then we had three prime ministers in something like 50 odd days, and looked like the laughing stock of the free world.
We have "woke"..."me too" and pro noun insistence by some; global warming and the big reset...so, how the fk is everyone???

You forgot the end of 'fiat' currency, the reason why we are where we are today. The Elephant in the room that is continually swept aside...........for some reason?
A phoney pandemic (99.97% of us would be fine......THEIR WORDS!).

So....just had 3 physio appointments no problem...of the back of a Drs appointment that when I contacted him he got back to me within a few hrs and I was in front of him an hr or so later.
Seen the dentist within a few weeks and another appointment a few later booked in.
Maternity was over 10yrs ago so not relevant to me..but others I know have had no problem.
All in all.....probably not as quick as say 5yrs ago but still not too shabby imo.

I was trying to get onto a physio a couple of years back, took ages, and for a deep muscle injury they were reluctant to do anything further than a basic examination. Had to feck it off and go private in the end
Mrs couldn’t get an NHS dentist for love or money when she moved last year, was pregnant at the time so supposed to get priority.
As for maternity visits? All been stripped back. If you want a home birth you essentially have to pray they come on one of the select days they allocate staffing.

East Manchester 😂 lad at work had a serious accident earlier this year, did well not to lose his arm, had to drive him in ourselves - was told it would be 40 minutes for an ambulance. It really does concern me what is being allowed to happen to our health service

What on earth is happening in Britain,living abroad as i do for a few years now,It gives me no joy to have to listen to such stories,and I certainly don't intend to return to live there again ! It's no wonder so many Brits seem to be on the move !

Where abouts did you move to? It’s still a very good country to live in comparatively, and I think the movement towards acceptance and tolerance is definitely a great positive. But the quantity and quality of so many important services really has been gutted, and it’s alarming to see we’re in for even more of the same now.

Having moved to southern Spain a few years ago,I am one of the many northern europeans domiciled here, who is noticing just how many more Brits and other europeans are arriving here now, and it's not only for the wonderful weather, or glorious countryside and beaches ,or the hospitable local people ,or even the wonderful food !............
It's all about the quality of life we have here,not to mention the intolerance towards the politicians and the powers that be ,controlling affairs,in their own countries,not only Britain !
Definately worth looking into ,now or in the future, my man.

Yeah I feel the continent lifestyle is very good, not just the weather in say Spain etc but the overall lifestyle.
