Took the ball out with his family for the All Blacks game
Am absolutely gutted, met him once, what a character he was right to the end

Glad this is getting a thread of its own and not just a ggotw nomination. So many diseases but this really is a sickener to otherwise fit sportspeople exacerbating the shock any family feels.

On a somewhat related note, I know he walked proudly and I know there's artistic license and maybe it is just me but WTF is the pigeon chest they've put on the new Big Billy statue?

So sad and just one week after Kevin Sinfield completed his latest amazing challenge for MND.
Hope they find a cure for this horrible illness.
