Do you think that this ref was biased against England.
He awarded a goal to France when it should have been a foul on Saka.
England should have had 2 other penalties and the French player sent off.
He made some of our PL refs look world class. He is worse than Mike Dean and Michael Oliver and a few others.
In fact he should never be allowed to ref another match gain.
This includes Sunday morning park football.
England should really have won 3-2.

The Saka incident was debatable at best, however the Kane non penalty first half was a joke.
How VAR didn’t award that makes you wonder.

First contact was outside the box. Definitely a freekick, but not a pen. VAR don't overrule on freekicks though.

How Kane didn’t at least get a free is beyond but no way was is a peno.
As for sako, he needs to concentrate on staying upright where he can do damage to the opponent’s rather than looking for a free every contact is made.
It’s a curse on the modern game and one of the positives of this tournament is that refs are waving play on.

Not Walton’s opinion
I’ll take his take over yours.

The ref was abysmal but France were better in front of goal when it mattered. We weren't.
Again😫🥱😡

The ref was Shiite, but at the end of the day we were awarded two penalties and still lost. That’s England for you.

Once the players see that the ref is likely to wave play on for traditional soft fouls, they should stop trying to buy fouls and stay on their feet more

Most worrying thing is the ref didn’t give the pens. It had to go to var. it’s like he missed everything, Bellingham and saka got fouled multiple times and it was just allowed to go on

It was almost like he wanted var to ref the game while he just ran about
The fact he didn’t give the 2nd pen without var then watched it for easily more than was required was a worry
Not sure he will be seen at a future World Cup

Poor ref whose one sided antics are why conspiracy theorists will always be there.
Virtually every big decision he made went France way. Not me being bitter, just a fact.
Said it all when we saw Bellingham towards the end of the game looking up to the skies with his arms out stretch, after yet another french foul had been ignored. His expression was clearly "I give up with this bloke"
When you factor in the "special" treatment we all saw Messi getting the day before, you do start to think just what is Fifa' agenda here. You can bet they DO have one. Just who do they want to lift the cup ?
Possibly the first African Nation ?
Possibly France to be first to retain it since 1962 ?
Possibly one last hurrah for one of the soon to retire so called superstars. Messi in the final would be a money spinner eh ?
Who knows. But this ref last night, well none of us are blind are we ? we saw what we saw.

It was like watching Spurs v Varpool or Penited, with endless key game changing decisions that would benefit Spurs either being ignored or bottled. This kind of thing has a huge sway in tight games and absolutely influences results.

Facking too right mate. You have just surmised every Spurs game at OT in one sentence.
You know it, I know it, everyone facking knows it.
