Kane is a world class player who deserves to end his career with at least a few medals. If it does end with Spurs I do see it ending with nothing now tbh. One of England’s best players ever too but even his international career is now blotted by that moment and sadly will be remembered largely for that.

Not wumming or anything but the Spurs/England combination just seems the worst possible for near misses and crushing disappointment. Two teams that just find that seemingly find it impossible to find that extra something to get over the line in the high pressure moments.

Genuinely gutted for him as he’s a good man/person and deserves more. Him and Henderson are outstanding role models for anyone wanting to get into the sport.

I actually don't think he will be one of englands best ever players, feel he has largely underwhelmed for england bare some tap ins and such.

i thought this tournament though he was fantastic, which is why the penalty miss is so disappointing for him. I thought he was great against France but through the whole tournament played well.

I'm not sure who will come in for him at his age but it would be great on a personal level for him if he could get spurs some silverware, even then though I do not think it would be one of the big competitions sadly.

Yeh Chelsea borrowed lots of money aroundabout that time to try to mix it with the big boys. Money they could not pay back, and they nearly went bust, and then had to get bailed out with laundered money.

So nothing incredible about that at all.
