Morocco and the End of Ronaldo

Football fans should thank Morocco for putting an end to the Ronaldo show. A sad, tedious and repetitive show. With the Piers Morgan interview, in which he attacked his club, his manager, his teammates and his former teammates, Ronaldo wanted to attract the world’s attention to him once again (something he failed to do on the pitch) and force a move to another big club. The interview seems to have backfired, because someone forgot to tell Ronaldo that the lights that make you shine may also expose your flaws to the world. The Portugal manager would have never dared bench Ronaldo, if his narcissistic behavior hadn’t been exposed by the interview and the reactions it provoked. Ronaldo is now a player without a club. A king without a kingdom. He may find a club soon, but it won’t be a big club.

Figo. The biggest despicable rat in world football. Him and Rapenaldo make a great couple.

It’s just bizarre how naive some in the game of football still are.

Figo came out yesterday slating the coach for not starting Ronaldo. Do these actually people watch football anymore?

It's just after timing, isn't it? Once they went out, people were always lazily going to point to that as the reason. It's nonsense, obviously, but it's an easy explanation

So, you saying there’s a lot out there not willing to accept he’s falling off the sporting cliff at great speed.
If Ronaldo accepted his powers are diminishing, he’d have less pressure. He’d be more relaxed.
We’d still see those flashes of brilliance. And mentally he’d be in a better place.
Believing he’s still the best is a problem.
We should be enjoying this time in his career. Nothing to prove. Enjoy your twilight years. You’ve earned it.
But no… it’s just pure delusion, surrounded by yes men.

That's not how his head works. I think he'll take the Saudi money. But not out of greed, as some would have you believe. But because he will see being the highest paid player in the world as being proof that he's still the best player in the world. That's how his head works

True. It’s up there with “ETH didn’t give him a chance”.

BTW he also had 40+ mins yesterday to make a difference and did very little. If anything, the mistake was bringing him on so early.

This. Many great players have accepted a reduced role in their latter years.

Funniest moments of The World Cup by far

Brazils arrogant delusional dancing allstar bottlejobs, all crying like babies after lowly Croatia knocked them out. Especially Neymar, ultimate style over substance player in bits the fraud🤣🤣🤣

Cristiano Ronaldo being put in his place finally then getting dumped out forever by lowly Morocco. Then showing the world and proving all his haters right by walking off alone to cry whilist leaving his entire team out on the pitch when he should've acted like a true leader. The Captain, the so called talisman. Always about himself. Go cry you c@nt🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lowly Croatia? World cup finalists 4 years ago? That one?

On a separate note, United were being pretty strongly linked with Diogo Costa before the tournament began. I hope that if there was any interest, we've dropped it now. Was the worst goalkeeper at this World Cup
