Who was the best and why?
My top 5:
Poirot (Suchet) - Ze little grey cells, Brilliantly understood the human condition
Sherlock (Cumberbatch) - an edgy fella with a brilliant mind
Will Graham - Hannibal (Dancy) - there are still people out there who haven’t seen this programme, it’s brilliant, watch it. Will was true to the book, brilliant mind but damaged and emotional.
Robert Goren - Law and Order criminal intent - (D’Onorfio) - a genius of the human behaviour - is he on the spectrum? Who knows but what a detective
Saga Noren - The Bridge - (Heflin) - Damaged but brilliant, very principled, uses logic like a laser.
Any others?
I won’t accept Jonathan Creek (amazing show) as he was an ideas man to a conjuror, not a detective
